In October 2023, Superior Technical Services (STS), a leading division of the Superior Group, completed a pivotal maintenance project at Methanex’s methanol production facility in Damietta, Egypt. Methanex Corporation, a global leader in methanol production with headquarters in Vancouver, Canada, operates state-of-the-art facilities worldwide, including the Damietta plant, which boasts an impressive production capacity of 1.26 million tonnes annually.
The STS team carried out critical testing and calibration of safety relief valves (SRVs) and control valves at the facility. These components are essential for ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of Methanex’s operations.
