Superior Technical Services Mobilizes Mobile Workshop for EBIC’s Ammonia Tank Valve Maintenance

In 2023, Superior Technical Services (STS), a division of Superior Group, collaborated with Egypt Basic Industries Corporation (EBIC) to perform critical maintenance on Pressure Vacuum Relief Valves (PVRVs) installed on ammonia storage tanks at EBIC’s marine port facility in Ain Sokhna, Egypt.

To address the urgent need for valve testing and repair, STS deployed its specialized mobile workshop directly to the EBIC site. This fully equipped unit enabled the STS team to conduct comprehensive on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and calibration of the PVRVs without necessitating the removal of valves or interruption of EBIC’s operations.

The on-site maintenance approach offered several key advantages:
